Lemon Cookie has been a fairly well-known character in the Cookie Run universe for quite some time, but he was only recently released in Cookie Run: Kingdom as a decent epic-rarity cookie. Introduced alongside Marshmallow Bunny Cookie, Lemon Cookie is the first member of the citrus squad to be added to Kingdom. As of the start of July 2025, he is currently the only member of the squad in CRK, but he will soon be joined by Lime, Orange, and Grapefruit Cookie, who will be able to buff him in battle.
Lemon Cookie is an electric-type ambush cookie who attacks from the middle position. Even though he may struggle against rarer cookies in the arena, he’s still an adequate character to use if you’re just starting out or want to get through World Exploration stages quickly. To make the most of his skill, though, you’ll need a good build for Lemon Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
Best Toppings For Lemon Cookie
Apple Jellies Seem To Be The Better Choice, But You Can Also Make Chocolate Toppings Work
When Lemon Cookie uses his skill, he dashes towards his enemies and uses his electrical cube to deal an explosive attack. He inflicts extra damage on any cookie with the “Zap” debuff, so he does well when teamed up with characters such as Frilled Jellyfish Cookie. His attacks become more powerful as he delivers more critical hits. With other members of the citrus squad in the same team, electric-type cookies will be buffed, and Lemon Cookie will have a higher chance of landing crits, which increases depending on the number of citrus cookies in the party.
Some other electric-type cookies you may want to consider putting on your team include Stormbringer Cookie, Agar Agar Cookie, and Pudding à la Mode Cookie.
Although he was released at the same time as Marshmallow Bunny Cookie, who is present in his update, she does not count as a member of the citrus squad. When it comes to his toppings, he works well with both Apple Jellies and Chocolates. He’ll be the most effective with resonant “Fuzzy Wuzzy” toppings, but regular Swift Chocolates and Juicy Apple Jellies work well too. Apple Jellies increase his chance of landing a critical hit, which makes his attacks generally more powerful, but chocolate toppings lower his cooldown, which allows him to use his skill more frequently.
Lemon Cookie Best Toppings
- Fuzzy Wuzzy Apple Jellies
- Fuzzy Wuzzy Chocolates
- Epic Juicy Apple Jellies
- Epic Swift Chocolates
Lemon Cookie’s base cooldown is 12 seconds, which isn’t exactly ideal, so you’ll need to strike a good balance between the two stats. I tested him out in the arena against himself with two different topping setups, and it seems like Apple Jellies are slightly more effective than chocolates, so I would opt for them with some cooldown substats. If you don’t get particularly lucky with your substats, you can look out for his weaker skills when re-rolling your beascuit stats.
Best Beascuits For Lemon Cookie
A Legendary Crispy Beascuit – Try A Thunderous One If You Want To Focus On Increasing Your Attack Stat

As an ambush cookie like Vampire Cookie, Lemon Cookie will benefit the most from a legendary crispy biscuit. Since his attacks deal electricity damage, he can also be paired with a thunderous crispy beascuit. As mentioned before, he works best with his cooldown decreased and critical hit chance increased, so if you find you’re lacking in either of these areas after deciding on your toppings, you can make some adjustments here.
If you’re using a thunderous beascuit, you can also choose to focus on increasing electricity damage or add an improved boost to his damage output. Some other stats that will make Lemon Cookie more effective are damage resistance bypass, attack, and attack speed. Since he’s supposed to attack from the middle of your team, he isn’t particularly tanky. To avoid quick defeat in battle, you could also consider giving him a bit of damage resistance if you plan to use him in more intense game modes like the arena in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
