The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack comes with several new botanical NPCs, including Mother Nature herself. She’s heavily involved in the DLC’s lore, having played a big part in the development of the in-game world and its history. However, it can be unclear how to come into contact with the elusive Sim unless players know where to look.
One of the biggest facets of the Enchanted by Nature EP is its lore, with stories about fairies, the Gnome Wars, Spruce Almighty, and their ex-wife Mother Nature. Players can learn about the world in a myriad of ways, like unlocking notebook entries – which were recently revamped for the base game – and asking locals about its history. Mother Nature will come up a lot in these tales, but where she can be found is largely left ambiguous.
How To Find Mother Nature In The Sims 4
A Special Seedling Summons The New NPC
The only way to initially make contact with Mother Nature is by planting a fairy seedling, which can be acquired in a few different ways. Before these options will be available, though, Sims will first have to learn about the existence of fairy seedlings. Players can select the Research How To Become A Fairy option on the Mossveil Fairy Hub in the center of Everdew, or ask fairies the same question directly.
After obtaining that knowledge, the fairy seedling can be obtained from foraging, as a fable reward, by asking a fairy, or ordering it on a computer. Requesting one from a fairy is a reasonably simple option, but the easiest by far is just purchasing it, mainly because it’s immediately placed in the Sim’s inventory.
Sims don’t immediately become a fairy through Mother Nature’s charm – they must then enter Moondrop Springs before it wears off. If players don’t want their Sim to transform but want to meet Mother Nature, they don’t have to go through with the second portion.
Once acquired, Sims need to plant the seedling. As soon as they do so, Mother Nature will briefly appear, only to vanish moments later after casting the charm. However, after the interaction, Mother Nature will appear in a Sim’s relationship panel, which is the key to building a romance with the verdant NPC.
How To Romance Mother Nature In The Sims 4
This Iconic Plant Mom Is Hard To Win Over
Now that Mother Nature’s profile can be clicked on, Sims can invite her to their current lot, which is the best way to bond. Wooing Mother Nature feels a bit similar to romancing the Grim Reaper in The Sims 4: she can poof away at any time, much like the keeper of the afterlife, meaning players must be persistent if they want to make progress. Also, like Grim, depending on the Sim, she might not be receptive at first, but they’ll have better luck if they have any of her Turn Ons, and avoid her Turn Offs:

Though it might break Spruce’s heart, Sims can eventually become romantic partners with Mother Nature, though they can’t marry her, nor can she move in. Despite these limitations, she’s still a very fun Sims NPC to romance If players want to stir up some extra drama in The Sims 4, they are also able to romance her ex, Spruce Almighty, by summoning them with the Sprucederry Grove Glaswood Tree.
