Where To Find Every Secret Tape In Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4

Nearly every level in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has a Secret Tape hidden somewhere in the park, but it isn’t always easy to track them down, and some require slick maneuvering to acquire. Secret Tapes are always part of the main Career Mode Tour Goals for both THPS 3 and 4 maps, and will be more than familiar for fans of the franchise or the first remake, THPS 1+2, which also included Secret Tapes in each main park.

Secret Tapes and other collectibles are a quintessential part of the classic THPS 3+4 franchise. While most parks have these listed as part of their goals, the Competition Parks do not have Secret Tapes at all. If you’re looking to collect all the Secret Tapes but can’t manage to track them down, I’ve included screenshots and some tips here on how to access them as easily as possible. Once you’ve collected a Secret Tape, it will be marked off your Goals list for that park, and you’ll be one step closer to completing your tour.

There Are Six Secret Tapes In The THPS 3 Parks

Just as the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 parks were divided up into two parts for each game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is structured the same way. Players will remember many of these parks from the original THPS 3+4 games, but will also experience some brand-new ones. There are six total Secret Tapes in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 parks, all of which are part of the main goals for each non-competition park.

You’ll get a brief glimpse at their locations in the Goals preview at the beginning of your run, but these aren’t always the clearest depictions of where the Secret Tapes are located. Also, the overview won’t give you any indication of how to actually reach these Secret Tape locations, so you’ll have to hone your skills a bit if you’re not familiar with the controls.

Foundry	In the rafters on a center beam in the middle of the map.	Skate up the catwalk and use the ramp in the glass enclosure to grind the center beam.
Canada	Off metal mine cart rail next to large log flume pipe.	Raise the platform by grinding the rail with the green button, ascend log flume and grind rail.
Suburbia	Directly behind starting location off American Flag pole.	Grind the long telephone wire across the map to the top of a haunted house and either drop to the pole or go through the hallway from the back.
Airport	On the top rail of the roundabout section above the Australian flag.	Boneless to the top rail and grind around.
Los Angeles	Very top of the tall purple structure.	Cause an earthquake, ollie across the highway and traverse the rooftops, then grind the rail across to the purple structure.
Cruise Ship	Across the high wires on the ship’s funnel.	Grind the high wires straight ahead and use the ramp to grab the tape.

All Secret Tapes In Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4

There Are Seven Secret Tapes For The THPS 4 Parks

The Secret Tapes in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 maps/parks are also part of the non-competition parks, and will function the same way as THPS 3 maps. There are a few tricky ones in THPS 4, including Alcatraz and the Shipyard. For the College Secret Tape, you can approach it from one of two directions, using the wire with the banners from the rooftop and grind your way up, or the easier way is to enter the door behind the clock tower. This will pop you out right at the top of the wire and you can then grind down.

College	On a wire leading up to the clock tower.	Grind the wire from the rooftop toward the clock tower, or enter the clock tower from the back door.
San Francisco	On a ledge outside the Boardwalk hotel.	Get to the upper level and grind the hotel sign over to the next ledge, following it around to the tape.
Alcatraz	Near the water tower.	After opening the jail doors, use the rail from the top floor.
Waterpark	At the top of the Dual Boomerang Slide.	Use the Dual Boomerang Slide entrance to reach the tape on the second ramp. Open up the Arcade first by getting the keys above the entrance to the Dual Boomerang Slide.
Shipyard	Between the two Dumpster Burger warehouse buildings.	Use the Dumpster Burger warehouse door to get to the rooftops and drop down to grab the tape.
London	On top of a building with an O2 billboard behind the Canadian Embassy.	Use the ramps located by the Canadian Embassy to access the rooftops.
Pinball	Near the center of the map, off the large multicolored wire ramp.	Use the wire ramp to grab the tape.

Overall, the Secret Tapes in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 are required to complete all the main goals in the game, and you’ll have to unlock all of them up to London before you can access the Pinball map and get the final one. After you’ve completed all goals in every park across both games, you will unlock the Pro Goals for each park, which will give you a whole new set of challenges to take on.
