Adventure Week returns to Pokémon GO for 2025, with two new Pokémon debuts the stand-out bonuses on offer for players next week. This week’s Pokémon Presents confirmed the biggest event in Pokemon GO’s history this August, but there is plenty to keep players happy in the coming weeks before then. The event will run from Tuesday 29 July 10am local time until Sunday 3 August 8pm local time.
Pokémon GO has been full of weekly events over the summer, including the Ultra Unlock: Steel and Scales event, which saw more Pokémon make their debut in the ever-expanding game. However, despite being a smaller event, Adventure Week has a lot to offer, including debuts, rewards and a range of increased spawns for players.
Pokémon GO Adventure Week Pokémon Debuts And Spawns
Two Paldean Pokémon Are Joining The Game
While the weekly events in Pokémon GO can often be lackluster, new Pokémon debuts are what people will be playing them for. Adventure Week brings two Pokémon from Gen 9 and the Paldea region. Toedscool and its evolution Toedscruel will both be available from the start of the event.
For the event, different Pokémon will be spawning in different locations. This includes Forests or Grasslands, which will see Toedscool as a potential wild spawn.
Toedscool can be evolved into Toedscruel by using 50 of its candies.
In addition, for the first time, Wiglett and Wugtrio will be available to find in their shiny forms in Pokémon GO. During the event, Wiglett can be found near Beaches or Water.
In addition, further Pokémon will have increased spawns in set locations. In Cities, Snubbull, Trubbish, Elgyem, Sizzlipede and Espurr will be spawning more often. Forests or Grasslands will feature additional Skwovet, Fidough, Smoliv and Tadbulb spawns. In the Mountains you will be able to find Hippopotas, Drilbur, Rufflet and Gligar. Finally, at Beaches or Water Inkay, Mareanie, Dewpinder and Sandygast will be spawning.
Pokémon GO Adventure Week Rewards
Double XP And Longer Incense

In addition to the huge increase in wild spawns, all trainers will receive additional bonuses while playing Pokémon GO during the event. Across the six days that the event is live, you will receive 2x XP for every Pokémon you catch, regardless of whether it is an event-based one or not.
All Incense used will also last for two hours during Adventure Week, further increasing the spawns available to you. This is on top of any bonuses that are in place as part of the Delightful Days season which is currently taking place.
Finally, there will be event themed Field Research tasks, Timed Research and Paid Timed Research. These will all grant you further in-game rewards and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Adventure Week 2025 in Pokémon GO remains a must-not-miss event, even if it is just to capture the two debuting Paldean Pokémon.
